Finding a trusted pet sitter in India can be challenging for pet parents who need to travel but want their pets to stay safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Many traditional dog boarding services in India do not always provide the home-like environment that pets are used to.
The solution to the issue is ZoodleApp which brings together pet parents with professional pet sitters and trusted dog boarding services in the key metro cities in India.
In this customer story Suraj Tambe talks about how he has discovered a trustworthy dog boarding option in Bangalore to his Beagle, Bruno, to enable him to travel without stress besides keeping his pet to get quality attention and care.
Meet Suraj and His Beagle Bruno.
Suraj Tambe is a proud pet parent of a 10-month-old Beagle by the name Bruno and resides in Bangalore. Bruno is a member of the family; a lot like most other owners of dogs.
Bruno is active and joyful and accustomed to the comfort in his home. The young Beagle starts his day walking, playing and having his meals, which makes him healthy and active.
It was all going well until a sudden travel circumstance sprung up, causing a big challenge.
The Travel Challenge for Pet Parents
Suraj was scheduled to visit a foreign country with his family on a vacation trip of about 7 - 9 days. Tickets and hotel reservations have already been made.
Generally, when he was out of town, Bruno used to be at the house of a very close friend. The friend was well-acquainted with Bruno, and he never neglected him.
This time, however, was different.
The friend too had to go to his hometown at the same time abandoning Suraj with no one to look after Bruno.
As the date of his travel approached, he was in a difficult position. It was not possible to cancel the trip, but it was also impossible to leave Bruno in an unsafe location.
This is one of the pitfalls most of the pet parents in India encounter when they cannot trust their friends or relatives when seeking dog boarding services.
Searching for Dog Boarding in Bangalore
To resolve the issue, Suraj began to find the services of dog boarding in Bangalore. He went to various local kennels to find a safe place for Bruno.
Nevertheless, it was not a good experience.
Other boarding facilities were seen to be overcrowded, and others did not have hygiene and play fields for dogs. Being a decent pet parent, he was not sure to leave Bruno in such conditions.
Bruno had a right to a home that was safe, comfortable, and loving.
Not knowing what to do with the existing options, Suraj chose to look up online at reputable sites of pet sitters within India.
Discovering ZoodleApp for Pet Sitting Services
When Suraj was going through Google, he found ZoodleApp, which is a site that can be used to find pet sitters and dog boarding services in India that have been verified.
Being curious to hear about the service, he made a decision to test it.
Once he made a profile, he included information of Bruno such as breed, age and his needs in the process of his care. After inputting the location, 20+ options of pet sitters in Bangalore were shown on the site at flexible prices.
Suraj was having more than one kennel to compare, contrary to having only one kennel.
This has simplified the process of searching and helped him to feel confident that he would be able to find the appropriate caregiver of Bruno.
Support That Helped Choose the Right Pet Sitter
Suraj started interacting with some pet sitters on the site so as to know their experience, availability, as well as home setup of dogs.
A support executive soon approached him to get to know the requirements.
The team asked about:
Bruno’s breed and age
Feeding schedule
Special care instructions
Duration of the stay
On these specifications, the service desk suggested appropriate dog boarding services in Bangalore.
Suraj used the platform to book a 9-day dog boarding service after considering the recommendations. Reservation was easy and payment was done safely on the internet.
Safe Pickup and Regular Updates
On a scheduled day, the pet sitter came and got Bruno in the home of Suraj.
The sitter arrived with safety equipment and dealt with Bruno in a professional and calm manner. This gave him at once the confidence that Bruno was in safe keeping.
Throughout the 9-day stay, the sitter was posting frequent updates using the platform.
The updates included:
Photos of Bruno
Short video clips
Feeding and activity update.
The fact that Bruno was relaxed and happy gave Suraj a chance to enjoy his vacation without the fear of his pet.
Bruno’s Comfortable Dog Boarding Experience
When Suraj was having a wonderful time in his foreign adventure, Bruno was also having his little vacation.
The babysitter made sure that Bruno was provided with daily playtime, regular exercise, and nutritious food. The updates were clear indications of Bruno fitting well in the environment.
To the pet parent, such updates brought absolute peace and transparency.
Bruno did not feel like a conventional kennel stay but was made to feel that he was in a nurturing home setting.
A Smooth Return Home
Upon coming back to the trip, Suraj was glad to see Bruno in one safe piece.
Bruno also appeared healthy and energetic and evidently well taken care of during the stay.
The process of booking up to the drop-off was efficient and unproblematic.
The great experience made Suraj sure that he could now rely on a solution whenever he needed a pet sitting or dog boarding in India.
